I just purchased Object Desktop 2007 2 weeks ago and I renewed my subsciption for wincustomize on Christmas Day for 2 years. I received the confirmation with an order # but for the serial number it states [to be shipped from stardock].

There has been no change in my status (it still states I'm a level 4) on my personal page.

What's up?

Please email support@stardock.com to get this sorted out.  I'm not sure why you didn't receive the serial number.

It is now January 10th and I have still not heard from stardock support. I just received my Visa bill and I've been charged $54.95 which is NOT what they said was the cost for my 2 year renewal.
I've e-mailed them twice and have yet to hear back. My next step is the better business bureau.

Who can I call to get my money back?

sales@stardock.com or/and support@stardock.com which should have been your first course of action.

The forums here are basically user help forums which non-Stardock people frequent to try and assist users issues in using the programs.

As you can see in the link here you have different avenues to get assistance from Stardock - https://www.stardock.com/about.asp

Just click on the "Contact Us" link.

Threats are not the way to go.

I'm sure your problem can be resolved if you follow the "Contact Us" link above.

Object Desktop costs fifty bucks, USD, am I right?  Wouldnt that work out to the amount on your Visa?  As for the WinCustomize subscription, have you tried going to https://www.stardock.com/support/ and entering your email address in that you used to purchase the products?

I've been charged $54.95

OD2007 = $49.95
WC 2yr = $19.95
------------------
total = $69.90

on the other hand an OD renewal is $15 less which would make the total $54.90

Thank you.

: I apologize for your trouble. While from your end it appears you had not received a response, you actually had in fact been sent a reply (Dec 29) the day following your initial email (Dec 28) to support (despite the fact that our offices were closed December 23 - January 2 as indicated in the autoresponse).

I don't see any indication in your past transactions that you were overcharged, though for confirmation, you may want to contact the sales department at sales@stardock.com.

You should now be recognized as a subscriber, though there's another detail I would like to discuss through email so as to not disclose your private information.

I've sent a reply to your ticket which should hopefully start us on the path to getting everything straightened out.

Thanks!

I've been contacted by some very nice people at Stardock and I must apologize to them for letting my fustration out in a non professional manner.
But due to a username snafu I still at level 4. I am in the process of having someone change two accounts to one account so there is single source resposibility and I can get to level 5
